Carmarthen has an exceptionally affluent profile dominated by Affluent Greys (44.5% of shoppers). Although highly mobile these people will not travel past Carmarthen if they can find the quality and range of retail that matches their high expectations.
The new Debenhams will fulfill the towns requirement for a high quality, full range department store and the new shops will provide flagship units for new and existing retailers.
